Chinatown and North Beach are two San Francisco neighborhoods that have become iconic destinations unto themselves—if one judges by the number of visitors and the quantity of photos taken there. Aside from these unique neighborhoods, San Francisco also boasts three special smaller and much-beloved icons, each worth an hour of your photographic attention. Let’s call them cameo icons. Immerse yourself in the Crookedest Street, Coit Tower, and the Ferry Building, and you will emerge with a somewhat better understanding of why life is fun, amusing, and interesting in the City.
